WebCADdy 2021 faster, better - Coming Soon 3D

WebCADdy server migration completed

The old WebCADdy server has been switched off since last Friday (April 10.04.2021th, XNUMX). Even if there have been performance problems and, unfortunately, failures, especially in the last few months, the Windows server has provided us with loyal service over the past few years.

On the new server, we have fundamentally changed the structure in the background. Instead of Windows, a Linux server is now used, and the CADdy servers, which are required for the imports / exports in WebCADdy, have also received their own server.

WebCADdy is now available at the following URL: https://www.mapservice.de/webcaddy. A redirection to the new address has been set up for the WebCADdy Pro app. This means that there is no additional effort for our customers.

Through these extensive measures, we expect that WebCADdy and all connected portals such as the city atlas can be reached much more reliably. The server move should also significantly increase performance. If you have any problems, suggestions for improvement or questions at this point, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are grateful for any feedback.

In addition to the server relocation, the staking function in WebCADdy has also been expanded. When staking out, you can now choose whether you want to stake out the ellipsoidal height, the normal height or a completely individually entered height of an object. Try it out now!

The completed server migration has now also cleared the way for OpenLayers 6. We can now finally begin to migrate the WebCADdy, based on OpenLayers 6, developed in cooperation with Intetics, and hopefully make it available soon.
