DJI introduces integrated lidar and photogrammetry drone solutions!

With its P4 RTK, DJI has long been an integral part of professional surveying operations.
The Chinese manufacturer is now launching two new high-end products for the Matrice M1, the “L1” and “P300”.
The M300 is one of the most powerful UAVs on the market with 55min flight time, IPX certification and numerous failsafe functions that are second to none.
So it makes sense to make this workhorse usable in surveying too.

DJI has developed two high-precision tools that are expected to hit the market in spring 2021 (P1 in March / April, L1 probably in June 2021).

DJI P1
Zenmuse P1 integrates a full frame sensor and an interchangeable lens with fixed focus on a sturdy 3-axis gimbal. Designed for photogrammetric missions, it takes efficiency and accuracy to a whole new level.
In terms of price, the RRP for the P1 is less than € 6.000

Basic information:

  • Accuracy without GCP 3 cm horizontally / 5 cm vertically H.
  • o high efficiency that can cover 3 square kilometers in one flight
  • 45 MP full frame sensor

DJI L1
Zenmuse L1 integrates a Livox lidar module, a high-precision IMU and a camera with a 1-inch CMOS on the 3-axis stabilized gimbal. By combining Matrice 300 RTK and 3Dsurvey, L1 forms a complete solution that allows you to receive real-time 3D data throughout the day, effectively capture the details of complex structures, and provide high-precision reconstruction models.
In terms of price, the RRP for the L1 is less than € 18.000
