Deadline for mandatory registration extended to April 30.04.2021, XNUMX
As we already announced in a previous report, the Federal Luaftfahrbundesamt has extended the deadline for registration (originally 01.01.2021/2021/XNUMX) to the end of April XNUMX. Until then should each Flying Surveyor Pilot register and request his respective e-ID (identification of the remote pilot).
You will need the following data / documents:
For natural persons:
- Full name (as shown on the ID)
- Date of birth, scan the official ID (identity card or passport) from which the above data originated (format: PDF or JPEG).
- Address, email address, telephone number,
- The name of the insurer and the number of the insurance policy.
For legal persons:
- The full name is given in the official document (extract from the Handelsblatt, entry in the register of associations, ...),
- Scan the official documents (from the commercial register, extract from the register of associations ...) to see the existence of the legal entity (format: PDF or JPEG).
- Address, email address, telephone number,
- The name of the insurer and the number of the insurance policy.
When should you register a natural or legal person?
If only one remote pilot operates the UAS, it is sufficient to register a natural person.
If more than one person is flying, the company should be registered as a legal entity.
